Additional information can be found on the Resources tab.

In response to a UT System mandate, the UT Information Security Office (ISO) has developed a strategy for implementing campus-wide multi-factor authentication.

As of June 15, 2020, all current students, faculty, and staff as well as future faculty and staff are required to use multi-factor authentication to access most online services that require a UT EID.

The ITS Identity and Access Management (IAM) Team was charged with implementing this strategy for IAM-managed services (Enterprise Authentication and UT Shibboleth).

The Campus-Wide MFA Implementation Project is governed by the Identity and Access Management standing committee of the IT Leadership Council.
