The newly released, IT Governance Accountability Report presents what governance committees said they would do, what was accomplished and what priorities are ahead for IT@UT for this fiscal year. The ITS capital budget is also included, along with the actual big ticket capital expenditures for the past fiscal year.
In FY 2013-2014, governance priorities are: provide input to the IT shared services initiative pending an agreement to proceed with pilots; begin implementation of the new administrative systems; create an administrative system integration strategy; begin to develop learning analytics; develop systems standards; update the educational technologies roadmap; plan for the building security system replacement; and create data preservation cloud computing strategies. Implementation of the following projects is also a priority for this year: Responsive Web Redesign, Voice over Internet Protocol Deployment, Identity Management Strategy Implementation, and Office 365 (cloud-based email) Deployment.
